As the saying goes, along with the title of a book, "All Corvettes Are Red". Obviously that isn't always the case but it's difficult to argue with the concept. When you look at this classy piece of history, especially with it's original red-on-red scheme along with the white convertible top, you can just imagine what it must have been like driving it off a dealer lot in 1963.
Corvette Tech, Inc. just completed a body-off chassis, drivetrain, and engine restoration on this beauty. The owner of the vehicle, due to personal reasons, has asked that we sell it for him. So the car is available now for sale.
The body, paint and interior were in excellent condition. So if you are looking for a beautiful red-on-red Mid-year Corvette. Here's a chance to grab one and be the first to drive it after being brought back to like-new condition. Feel free to give us a call to discuss.

Vehicle Description
Every nut, bolt, washer and all parts have either been restored, repaired, replated, or replaced. In most cases, parts that were replaced were replaced with NOS (New Original Stock) parts. No expense was spared is this restoration.
How many original Red on Red Fuel-Injected Convertibles with White Tops were built? Who knows? There were only 2610 FI cars (Coupes and Convertibles) built in 1963. So after 40+ years how many could be left? Who knows? Certainly very few, and even fewer in the condition of this car.
This car has literally just completed the restoration process and is ready for a new owner to kick-back and enjoy it..

Odometer Reads 67800 miles. There is no way to verify this. This car starts, runs, and drives like a new Corvette. It is a pleasure to drive and the classic Riverside Red Paint provides that period look. It is an attention getter wherever it goes. Looking at and/or driving this car is like stepping back in time.
Note: Although the engine block was a VERY hard to find original October 62 327 Chevy Block with a casting number of 3782870, it is not the original that came with the car (that unfortunately was not to be found). It is in every way identical to that which left the factory in the car. It has been restamped with the correct Vin but the casting number and date are originals. Every effort was made to find a correct block for the car and restore it exactly as a 327/360hp Fuelie Engine with pop-up pistons, 11.25 compression, correct heads, waterpump, oilpan, bellhousing, harmonic balancer, pulleys, fan, valve covers, fuel pump, intake, FI Unit, Distributor, spark plug wires, exhaust, and anything else you can think of.
Some specifics. More available on request:
As you can see from this listing, in addition to all the time, money, and sweat that went into restoring this car to it's beautiful condition today, there was also a lot of research, investigation, and searching that went into making sure the correct parts were used and installed in the correct fashion.
