In case you didn't think it could happen to you!

think again ;-)

Below are some pictures of some of the strange things we have had to deal with recently.

Welcome to our hall of shame

How about blowing a head gasket. Or better yet, how about blowing both sides! Would you believe the engine still dyno'd over 375hp at the rear wheels in this condition. It only smoked a little!

Or maybe you prefer to grenade a clutch and bellhousing in your spare time!

How about just about welding what is left of an exploded clutch disc inside of the pressure plate! Luckily the holes in the bellhousing allowed us to get at the pressure plate bolts and loosen the pressure plate to take the tension off the tranny shaft to get the tranny out (with a little prybar)!

Or maybe a Klingon Bellhousing. It has blades sticking through it!

What looks like a mice nest is what's left of the clutch disc!

While installing a complete Nitrous System in a C5 some prior un-repaired damage was evident. A clean carfax means nothing as you can see. This was an eBay car (it does look good and runs great) that had taken a hit on the right front but only had a Fender put on the outside. The prior owner didn't replace the inner fender and fuse box block and mounting. It actually looks worse then it is. It's back together and looking like new!

For those looking at buying a used Vette, pay someone (or take a knowledgeable friend with you) to look at the car and go over it inside and out!

More to come...
